Steve Jobs was a technology and business icon who founded Apple at age 21. At that time, he would have been called a whiz kid—but now this age group of entrepreneurs are called Millennials and are a new demographic. We grew up in a world where Apple was a fruit second and an electronic first. With 18 billion apps already downloaded, Steve Jobs didn’t just pave the way for our generation—he created our entire way of life.

Facebook is changing rapidly, so here’s how to wrap your head around the new “list” and “subscribe” and “list” options.

Dear Shama,
I consider myself social-media savvy, but I am an early adopter. I joined Facebook when they opened it up to professionals, I snagged an early invite for Google Plus, and I use Twitter. I realize that social media changes fast, but I am stumped by the new changes on Facebook! What are the smart lists I keep hearing about? And what is the new subscribe option? What is going on? Please help me before I decide to quit Facebook altogether!

Dear Shama,
We know from others how powerful online video can be for visibility and growth. Clearly, YouTube continues to reign large with the talking babies and dancing bears, but can it really help with marketing? I’ve been tasked with integrating online video into our marketing efforts, but have no idea where to start and how can I be sure it will go viral. Is YouTube the best way to go, or should we put the videos on our website? How long should the videos be? Any and all direction you can provide would be appreciated.
Garry, Marketing Director from Salt Lake City
